Set up Fexyn VPN on Android
About three minutes from a fresh install to your first connection.
The Android app is built and undergoing internal testing. Distribution is rolling out gradually. If you don't see it in your store yet, request access by signing up at fexyn.com/pricing — when the public Android channel opens, the account email gets a download link.
What you'll need
- Android 10 or later
- About 30 MB free disk space
- An email address (no real name required)
- An active Fexyn account (7-day free trial included)
1. Create your account
Sign up at fexyn.com/register. The 7-day free trial starts when the account exists. Verify the email before continuing — the app won't sign in until verification is complete.
2. Install the app
When the Android app is available in your channel, install it from the link in your account dashboard or the relevant store page. Grant the VPN profile permission Android prompts for on first launch — this is the standard Android system prompt that appears for any VPN app, and it's required for the tunnel to be created.
Optional: also grant battery-optimisation exemption. Android may otherwise pause the helper service in the background, dropping the connection unexpectedly. Settings → Apps → Fexyn VPN → Battery → Unrestricted.
3. Sign in
Open the app, sign in with the same email and password you used for the account. The app fetches your subscription state and which servers/protocols your plan covers.
4. Pick a protocol (or let the app choose)
Same protocol set as the desktop app:
- Fexyn Bolt (WireGuard) — fastest, default on clean networks. More
- Fexyn Stealth (VLESS Reality) — for filtered networks. More
- Fexyn Secure (OpenVPN) — TCP/443 fallback. More
Auto-rotation handles protocol switching. Set Stealth as default if you're on a network that filters VPNs.
5. Connect
Tap Connect. Android shows the standard VPN status icon (a key) in the status bar. To verify the tunnel is working, open a browser and visit fexyn.com/tools/what-is-my-ip — the IP shown should be the Fexyn server's.
Other platforms
iOS is in development. macOS and Linux are also in development; no committed release date. Sign up now and your account works across every client we ship.
