VPN for Hulu
US-only streaming. What works for travellers, expats, and US users abroad.
Hulu is US-only
Hulu (Disney-owned) streams only in the United States. There is no international Hulu. Disney's international equivalent is Disney+ Hotstar in some markets and Disney+ with Star in others. For non-US access to Hulu specifically, a VPN to a US exit is required.
Why Fexyn handles it
Fexyn Stealth uses VLESS Reality with the Vision flow. Traffic looks like normal HTTPS to a real public site rather than VPN traffic. Hulu's behavioural detection has less to flag. Ashburn server is our US exit; from Europe expect 90-130ms latency, fine for streaming.
Setup
- Sign up at fexyn.com/pricing. 7-day free trial.
- Install from fexyn.com/download.
- Connect to Ashburn (our US server). Try Bolt; switch to Stealth if Hulu shows a geo-restriction error.
- Sign in to Hulu. Existing US accounts work fine on a US-routed exit.
Frequently asked
Is Hulu available outside the US?
No. Hulu is US-only. Disney's international equivalent is Disney+ Hotstar (in some markets) or Disney+ with Star (in others). Hulu does not stream in Canada, UK, EU, or anywhere outside the United States. A VPN to a US exit is required for non-US access.
Is Hulu Japan the same service?
No. Hulu in Japan is a separate Nippon TV-owned service with different content from US Hulu. A subscription to one does not work for the other. If you have US Hulu and travel to Japan, you cannot use it; you need a US-routed VPN. If you have Japan Hulu and travel to the US, the same applies in reverse.
Why does Hulu block VPNs?
Same pattern as Netflix and Peacock: licensing requires US-only distribution; Hulu enforces via ASN-based IP blocking against commercial VPN ranges. Most VPNs work intermittently; the IP blocklist updates frequently.
What works for Hulu via VPN?
Reality protocol's TLS-mimic plus a US-routed exit. Fexyn Stealth on Ashburn server is the configuration. Works most of the time as of May 2026; not guaranteed.
Do I need a US payment method to subscribe to Hulu?
Yes. New Hulu subscriptions require a US billing address and US-issued payment method. A VPN does not solve the payment-method requirement; it just gets you past the IP geo-check. Most users with VPN-routed Hulu access have existing accounts created in the US, or use US-resident family billing.
